A link manager that is easier for the guest to the site to use.
The old link manager V8 of phpws was great.
Whay did it change?

What's specifically more difficult?
I can't say I've noticed that much difference although the category view certainly isn't as nice.

Just the way the information is grouped.
Finished my last final today and was going to try and spend some time on my site to see if i can get the link manager to display information in a easier to use format.

In the category view or an individual listing?
The category view is generic across all modules with category views - FAQ, linkman, announce etc. It's not very nice. It's templated but quite restrictive. I've been thinking of revising this myself as I added a category view to photoAlbum and that's not looking as pretty as I want. I think I'll make it more like a Yahoo/DMOZ style listing with optional category icons on the parent nodes.
The other views are templated also, so easy to change the layout.
